Hey this is another quick and dirty recipe when your significant other threatens to bite you if she don't get something to eat right quick.
A little olive oil for the pan
Fresh broccoli florets
fresh mushrooms sliced
one red onion diced
fresh chopped garlic
one package of ground chicken, turkey, or what ever they call that meat from cows, I forget, I think I last bought some back in the early nineties.
two jars of 'CLASSICO'@ brand roasted garlic alfredo pasta sauce
1/3 cup of 2% milk
Ms. Dash seasoning to keep sodium level below sea level
Now the way I did this was to saute the vegetables and remove them from the pan. Then I browned the meat and added the sauce to the pan. Use the milk to get the rest of the product out of the jars and to thin the sauce a little. Now add the sauted veggies back with the rest and gently stir until she comes up behind you with the knife. Put this over the pasta of your choice.
